Coffins & Caskets

There are many alternatives available for you to select from and the staff at all three of our local offices are able show you examples and advise on options ranging from traditional coffins to environmentally friendly alternatives and from themed or individually decorated coffins through to American style caskets.  

With the range available we will work with you to ensure you can find the most appropriate option for your requirements. 

Whilst there are too many individual selections to detail here a broad description of the styles available is provided for your guidance.

Traditional 

These coffins are designed and constructed based on the traditional styles used for generations.  They are usually available in wood veneered finishes, or alternatively in solid wood such as Oak or Elm. The interiors can be tailored to a personalised finish if required including different colours and materials.

Environmentally friendly

Whilst in general these models maintain the traditional shape the materials of construction are selected based on their highly biodegradable nature.  Cardboard, Seagrass and Wicker are all frequently used and provide a dignified alternative to the traditional coffin.   

Bespoke design

A range of artwork, photographs and images are available that cover a diverse range of themes, providing the opportunity to truly celebrate an individual’s character. An option to also use personal photographs is available for a completely unique personalised design.

American style caskets

An extensive range of American-style caskets are also available, made from either steel or hardwood and with hinged opening and a range of high quality interior finishes.
